Dead by Daylight has become one of the biggest meta-experiences for horror fans, as a variety of iconic characters, creatures, and monsters have debuted in the asymmetrical horror game over the years. To this end, following the recent additions of Chucky and Xenomorph, now one of the protagonists of one of the most critically acclaimed games of 2023 is also coming to the game.
Alan Wake will join the Dead by Daylight Survivor roster. The character will be similar to the Alan Wake 2 version and modeled using actor Ikka Villi’s likeness, with Matthew Porretta once once more voicing the character. To make Allen’s arrival make sense, as well as the legend surrounding how the novelist ended up in the game, a new lost manuscript states:
“As I searched for a way out, a little light in the darkness, I thought regarding the script I wrote for Night Springs, regarding a place swallowed by fog. Allen will appear in the game alongside a new chapter, as well as a new limited-time modifier called Lights Out, which is said to “Adds a layer of terrifying horror to Dead by Daylight”。
