″Officials are conducting verification in accordance with regulations. There is no need to give any special instructions.″

Navalny, who has been campaigning against the government by exposing the corruption of high-ranking Russian officials, has been considered President Putin’s biggest political opponent.

Navalny has been serving a sentence of more than 30 years in prison on charges of illegal acquisition of money, extremist activities, and fraud, and has been serving his sentence since January 2021.

The prison in question is so notorious that it is called the “Arctic Wolf” due to its harsh environment in Siberia, the northernmost part of Russia.

Navalny’s associates are raising suspicions of murder, saying the 47-year-old was in good health until recently.

Due to the sudden incident that occurred about a month before the Russian presidential election, the West is also discussing responsibility for President Putin.

Tributes continued to come from all over Europe, including France and Germany.

Regarding the suspicion of murder, the Russian side countered, saying, “Instead of making indiscriminate accusations, it would be better to show restraint and wait for the official results of medical tests.”
