A model of the head of the famous alien creature from the movie “E.T.,” the bathrobe of a character from the movie “Big Lebowski,” and the shirt that Princess Diana wore in her engagement photo, will be offered at an upcoming auction next week in New York, as part of a series of auctions dedicated to items “ Iconic in Hollywood.
The “Hollywood Legends” auction series is held from Thursday to Sunday in Beverly Hills in Los Angeles, and on Monday thousands of prominent items were presented to the press.
Martin Nolan, managing director of Julian’s Auctions, said: “These pieces are now considered a group of assets, not just souvenirs or items related to a stage in our lives.”
“It’s more fun than stocks or bonds, or many other things in people’s investment portfolios,” he continued.
Among these “assets” is a head belonging to the famous alien from the movie “E.T.,” whose price could reach a million dollars, according to Nolan.
Among the items that will also be offered for sale is the bathrobe of the character played by Jeff Bridges in the movie “The Big Lebowski.”
