Recent leaks have revealed the appearance and names of several new characters to be released in Genshin Impact. The information cites 20 characters that have not yet appeared in HoYoverse’s open world RPG and, according to speculation, most of them belong to the new region of Fontaine, which will debut in Genshin Impact 4.0. However, there are some that seem to belong to Sumeru and Liyue.

Recently we’ve had a bunch of leaks on Twitter and Reddit with screenshots of various yet-to-be-released playable characters, including Arlecchino, Lyney, and more. Although most of them were removed, Twitter user “focaily” made a list of the names of the characters mentioned in the rumours.

Note that the images shown here are initial designs for the characters, that is, it is very likely that there will be changes when they are released in Genshin Impact. Update 3.8 is believed to be the last one before HoYoverse releases the new Fontaine region. According to rumors, HoYoverse will release Genshin Impact 4.0 on August 16, 2023

Developed by HoYoverse studio, Genshin Impact was released on September 28, 2020 for PC, PS4, Android and iOS. On April 28, 2021, Genshin Impact won a PS5 version. Unfortunately, although on January 13, 2020 the title was announced for Nintendo Switch, it has not won a release date until today and remains in development according to the GoNintendo website.
Genshin Impact is a free open-world action RPG game, where the player chooses one of the “Travelers” characters to unravel the mysteries of Teyvat, a world created for the game.
