All the best to Mahaseel Mela

Doha: The Mahaseel Mela kicked off at Katara Cultural Village with fresh fruits and vegetables from local farms. The 7th Mahaseel Mela is held in the south of Katara. This is in collaboration with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs.

Various types of tomatoes, capsicum, cucumber, green chillies, brinjals, mushrooms, lentils, leafy vegetables like coriander, parsley, jaggery, honey, dates, strawberries and shamams can be bought here at affordable prices. Milk and milk products, eggs, chicken, mutton and beef are also available in the market.

Apart from food items, different types of ornamental plants and ornamental flowers are available here. Art workshops are also organized as part of the fair. This time once more there is a good participation of local farms. The market will be open from 9 am to 9 pm every Thursday, Friday and Saturday till April 15.
