Thrissur: In Thrissur Pavaratti, mother’s dead body was not shown to her children. Behind the incident is the stubbornness of the in-laws who did not bring their two children to see Asha’s dead body after committing suicide. Due to this, the last rites of the woman are delayed. Asha committed suicide by consuming poison on Tuesday.
Asha has two boys. The family is waiting for the funeral to be delayed so that the children can come and perform the last rites. But even though they are contacted in many ways, the in-laws are of the position that they will not bring the children under any circumstances.
Asha’s husband was called to bring the children, but Asha’s father said that he should not say that and told him to go wherever he wanted. He added that the in-laws are not ready to take over the dead body of the woman.
