Extradited to Belgium in June

Rodrigo “Xiru” had been spotted by the Brazilian police thanks to his telephone conversations with Sergio Roberto de Carvalho. These demonstrated that he was probably the right arm of the “Brazilian Pablo Escobar”.

According to the Interpol network, Sergio Roberto de Carvalho is suspected of being at the head of a vast cocaine trafficking organization destined for Europe. The 64-year-old, considered “one of the most dangerous criminals in the world”, was extradited to Belgium from Hungary – where he was arrested in 2022 – last June.
