Austria’s largest accommodation provider starts cooperation with games publisher AMIGO

From September 2023, four ALPS RESORTS holiday resorts will temporarily become “game resorts”. Together with the German game publisher AMIGO, the Austrian market leader in tourist accommodation equips selected resorts with complete game packages. A colorful mix of card and reaction games for all age groups are available in a total of 185 accommodations.

“It doesn’t matter whether it’s card, dice or board games – guests who spend their holidays in our holiday homes and apartments like to sit together and play in good company,” explains ALPS RESORTS Managing Director Thomas Payr. Therefore, the gaming cooperation with AMIGO is a perfect complement to the tourist offer of ALPS RESORTS.

In the ALPS RESORTS Carpe Solem Rauris, Bergeralm Chalets, Alpenchalets Biberwier and Bergresort Hauser Kaibling, each residential property comes with a basic package consisting of the games “Halli Galli”, “Speed Cups”, “Clack!”, “Lama” and “SET “ stocked. These games are characterized by simple rules that allow a quick start. In addition, there are large game sets with 20 additional AMIGO games in each resort, which guests can borrow free of charge from reception.

“The aim of the cooperation is to create an attractive additional offer for our guests, especially in the low season,” says Payr. Together with AMIGO, we want to enable families, friends and couples to have a special time together and create unforgettable memories. In addition, the cooperation will be accompanied by a wide-ranging image campaign, which should help both partners to open up new target groups.
