Kochi: On the day Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan arrived for the New Kerala Assembly, the Aluva Police gave a strange instruction that cooking should not be allowed near the meeting venue of the New Kerala Assembly. The traders in the shops near the conference venue have been instructed in this regard. According to the police’s instructions, due to safety reasons, food should not be cooked using cooking gas in the restaurant on that day and the food should be prepared in other places and sold in the shop. Employees are also advised to go to the police station and get an identification card.

“Navakerala Sadas will meet near Aluva private bus stand on December 7. There will be massive participation in the event. In order to ensure security during the event, the personal information of the shopkeepers operating near the private bus stand is essential. Aluva East Police Station will issue a temporary identification card to the workers working in the shop after verification. For this, two passport size photographs and a copy of the identity card of the workers should be brought to the station and the identity card should be purchased. People without identity card will not be allowed to work. Also cooking with cooking gas is not allowed on that day due to safety reasons. Instead, you can cook it in some other place and sell it in the shop,” says the police.
