Amazon brings a Kindle Scribe that you can read and remember – Engadget

In recent years, more and more brands have launched E Ink Tablet, which also prompted e-reader industry veteran Amazon to make some changes to its Kindle.At their annual hardware presentation this morning, they came up with a name Kindle Scribe ‘s new product. As the name suggests, this unit with a 10.2-inch, 300ppi screen can be used for recording in addition to reading. It has a magnetic stylus on the side of the fuselage. You don’t need to charge or sync it. Just pick it up and you can take notes, write, or mark the book you’re reading on the E Ink panel. Until next year, you can even open Microsoft Word documents on the Kindle Scribe.

This product is priced from US$399 and will ship later this year. In addition to different storage capacities, Amazon also offers basic and advanced styluses for users to choose from. The latter will add customizable shortcut buttons and a dedicated erase key on top. Consumers in the U.S. will also receive a four-month free trial of Kindle Unlimited.
