Starting today, customers in Germany can use a new activation word for their Echo devices: Ziggy. To change the wake word, open the Alexa app and select one of the available options. These are “Alexa”, “Computer”, “Echo”, “Amazon” and now “Ziggy”.
The rollout of the new activation word begins today. It will be available to all customers over the next few days. Amazon offers users an additional opportunity to customize their user experience. Each activation word can be combined with both existing voice options.
