Ambassador of the LPR: a whole brigade of the Ukrainian military left Lisichansk

In the Lugansk People’s Republic, allied forces have liberated a number of settlements and are fighting for Severodonetsk and Lisichansk, according to LPR Ambassador to Russia Rodion Miroshnik. A whole brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine left the city of Lisichansk after a series of clashes, he said.

“A whole brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine left their positions after small clashes directly from Lisichansk today and left,” reported he is in his Telegram channel.

He also added that the village of Voevodovka (between Rubizhne and Severodonetsk), after several attempts by the AFU to counterattack, was completely cleared of Ukrainian formations and is under the control of the people’s militia of the LPR.

According to Miroshnik, on May 8, the settlement of Nizhneye was also taken under the control of the allied forces. In addition, according to him, the industrial zone of the city of Rubizhnoye has been cleared. “Nobody else will shoot at the back of our troops advancing on Severodonetsk,” he said.

Miroshnik added that several strikes were made on the Lisichansk oil refinery. “Strikes were inflicted on the “pit” and several bomb shelters on the territory of the plant, which were chosen by the command staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Aidarovites who fled from Rubizhne. The attempt to sit out failed,” he said.

“Active fighting continues in Privolye, Shepilovo and Belogorovka. We look forward to their release in the near future,” the ambassador summed up his message.

Former head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov declared on the complete liberation of the city of Popasnaya in the Luhansk People’s Republic from Ukrainian troops.
