The ambulance tipped sideways and slid once morest a lamppost. The 41-year-old driver and his 28-year-old passenger suffered serious injuries and were immediately taken to nearby hospitals. A rescue helicopter was also involved in the transport. The five occupants of the car, including two small children, were mostly unharmed. However, a 56-year-old woman complained of upper body pain, which is why she was handed over to medical care. Both vehicles were totaled. The scene of the accident was closed until regarding 2 p.m. The investigation is being conducted by the Marktredwitz Police Inspectorate.
