AMD has released driver Adrenaline 23.30.01.02 for Radeon. This version includes a technical preview of the frame interpolation technology AMD Fluid Motion Frames (AFMF), which supports titles such as Starfield and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Compatible video cards are Radeon RX 7000/6000 series. According to the release notes, to enable AFMF, it is necessary to disable HDR and vertical sync in the game title’s graphics settings and operate in full screen mode. Recommended frame rate settings are 70fps or higher for monitors with 1440p or higher, and 55fps or higher for 1080p. Also, since lag may occur during games, we recommend using it in conjunction with the delay suppression function “Anti-Lag”. In the future, they will work on improving the overall smoothness and image quality. In addition to this, the update also fixes a bug that prevents installation on some systems and a bug that may suggest disabling HDR depending on the situation even when HDR is disabled.
