President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador assured that Olga Sanchez Corderosenator and former secretary of GovernorateI had discrepancies with others actors of politics, so he decided to replace her in the Ministry of the Interior (Segob) by Adam Augusto Lopez Hernandezthen governor of Tabasco.
“There was no good relationship with Segob and I needed help to deal with political issues, related to governors,” said President López Obrador when explaining the reasons for replacing Olga Sánchez Cordero.

Last august 26, Olga Sanchez Cordero resigned as head of Segob to return to his old seat in the Senatewhere she is currently the president of the Board of Directors.
Sanchez Lamb74 years old and former magistrate of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nationwas one of the most important figures in the cabinet of Lopez Obrador and assumed the position in the Interior as soon as the Executive mandate began, in December 2018.
