The artist, Amr Mostafa, continues to stir up controversy by presenting an imaginary perception by the artificial intelligence of the eastern planet Umm Kulthum over his threat by producer Mohsen Jaber to sue him for owning the intellectual property rights of her lyrical works, most of which are broadcast on his channel “Mazzika”.
And “Amr” published, on his official account, “Instagram,” a picture of Umm Kulthum with artificial intelligence, and wrote on it, “The Queen of the East, I think of you … soon.”
Amr Mostafa also published an audio clip of Umm Kulthum by means of artificial intelligence, as she chanted “Would say whatever you say” in the manner composed and arranged by Amr Mostafa, the music.
And the artist, Amr Mostafa, had sparked a great controversy when he announced a few days ago that he would present a song of his words and melodies with the voice of the late Umm Kulthum using artificial intelligence, and he faced many criticisms, including his prosecution by composer Mohsen Jaber, who owns intellectual property rights.
Amr replied to him, stressing that the matter is different this time, and according to him, “the game has changed,” indicating that the rights to the song with artificial intelligence this time belong to him.
Amr Mostafa has also announced that he is suing producer Mohsen Jaber for reusing his melodies, which he owns the rights to, with popular mahraganat singers, saying: “My songs were used in mahraganat, such as Oklo, and my heart that was missing, because it is an insult to me and I will take my right.”
Mohsen Jaber responded to him in a telephone interview on the “Last Word” program, presented by the media to Mays Al-Hadidi, saying, “If he raised a case against me, he would win it because he raised it with me so many times and I won it, and I did not attack any artist,” adding: “Amr Mustafa is talented, but his impulsiveness is the problem.”
