Vienna – The Public Employment Service (AMS) is preparing for fewer public funds in the coming year because special programs such as the springboard campaign for the long-term unemployed are ending and fewer unemployed are expected. From the current perspective, the funding budget for active labor market policy is expected to fall to 1.1 billion euros in 2024, following 1.3 billion euros in the current year, said the new AMS Austria board member Petra Draxl in the APA interview.
