More bad news in the world of IT with an increase in memory prices expected

We are a few months from the end of the year, and currently you can find 32 GB of DDR4 RAM at 3200 MHz for around 70 euros, while the same capacity in DDR5 at 5200 MHz sells for around 110 euros. Of course, it all depends on the model, so you may find cheaper modules, but in general they exceed these figures if you add features like RGB lighting, higher speed and lower latency. Although these prices are still reasonable, on average a 100 euro kit will therefore cost 8 euros and a 200 euro kit will cost 216 euros on average.
At the moment, looking at the price history, it seems that for some RAM models the prices have not increased, because they are now cheaper than a few months ago. On the other hand, other models have actually seen their prices increase by 10 to 20 euros if we compare what they cost in September and early October. It all depends on the store and the RAM, with DDR5 seeing the biggest increase.
GDDR6 and GDDR6X memory could also see its price increase
The reason for this sudden price hike is due to Samsung’s decision to reduce excess inventory. To do this, DRAM production has declined significantly, which prompted manufacturers to increase prices. This concerns GDDR6 type memory and GDDR6X. This will be a big problem, because almost the majority of graphics cards on the market use this memory and already have high prices.
