Security sources said that a mission from the Giza Investigation Department is chasing the fugitive husband accused of killing his wife, broadcaster Shaima Gamal, inside a farm in Badrashin.
The source explained that the cameras were unloaded in the vicinity of the Mansouriya villa, where the body of the victim was found, and the itinerary of the accused was followed, in preparation for his arrest.
Investigations and inspections of the security services in Giza revealed new circumstances in the killing of broadcaster Shaima Gamal at the hands of her husband on a farm in Markaz al-Badrashin, south of the governorate.
It turned out that the accused lured his victim to a farm in the village of Abu Sir, and smashed her head with a tap, hitting her 3 times in the head, but she did not die and choked her with a mustache.
The beginning goes back to the fact that Major General Medhat Fares, director of the Giza Investigations, received a report from a person that his wife, the presenter of the “Al-Mashiba” program, was absent, and that the last call they brought together told him that she was within the 6th of October City and she would then move home before her phone was turned off and he did not receive a response from her.
Major General Assem Abu al-Khair, Deputy Director of Giza Investigations, formed a high-level research team, in coordination with the Technical Assistance Department, to unload surveillance cameras and track possible routes.
The research and investigation efforts, which were supervised by Major General Alaa Selim, Director of the Public Security Sector, showed that the announcer had been married to someone for 8 years (3 years customary – 5 official years), but a dispute broke out between the spouses recently, after which the announcer threatened her husband to reveal his secret to his family.
According to the investigations of Major General Alaa Fathi, director of criminal investigations in Giza, the accused lured his wife to a farm in the village of Abu Sir, Badrashin Center, claiming that she had bought her to please her.
The accused hid the body and hid the only witness with a group of Al-Arabawia on the northern coast for fear of revealing his case, but the latter fled and reported the incident to the Public Prosecution, and the body is being exhumed.
Security and judicial sources revealed that an arrest warrant was issued for the accused to be brought after the immunity was lifted – as he is relevant – to discuss the circumstances of the incident and confront him with the witness.
