The 30th edition of the Golden Records of Television in full swing since 9 a.m., this Saturday, May 7, live on Bel RTL. Each year, this unmissable charity event raises several hundred thousand euros for the cause, thanks to generous donors. The latter do not hesitate to take out large sums in order to obtain framed and sometimes signed gold records from their favorite national and international artists.
Like last year, it was Christian De Paepe who was at the helm of the show, while a dozen other hosts followed one another on the air, to present the various discs, and to raise the stakes. One of the highlights of the morning came at the start of the show, when the gold record for “Nonante-Cinq”, Angèle’s second album, was sold. The collector’s item is, in fact, gone 101,800 euros, thanks to the generous donation of François, a faithful of the event. Facing him in the last auction was Alisson, who had already participated in the sale last year. During her appearance on the air, she took the opportunity to pay a new tribute to her mother, as she had already done last year, before her death from cancer.
