An RTBF journalist killed himself by jumping from the 10th floor of the Reyers building, our colleagues from Sudinfo announced. It was 6:30 p.m. Tuesday when a man smoking a cigarette heard a thud around the building before raising the alarm. It was a person who had just committed suicide by defenestrating himself from the 10th floor.
According to our colleagues, the victim is a 44-year-old journalist, married and father of a family. The man was still on sick leave according to Sudinfo.
Originally from Hainaut, this journalist worked as an editor for the television news as well as an editor for the website.
