Many times within the world of entertainment couples are formed that are somewhat surprising, because no one imagined or saw it coming that Cupid would shoot such hearts. One of these duos that undoubtedly fits perfectly into this category is that recently formed by the actors Ana de la Reguera and Alfonso Herrera.
After having given themselves a reasonable time to live the beginning of their romance with a low profile, the couple seems to have changed their minds and now, perhaps more confident than ever in their decisions, they show their love without itching through social networks.
It was the Netflix movie called ‘Qué Viva México!’, still to be released on the streaming platform, which crossed the paths of the artists again last year during filming on location in San Luis Potosí. At that time, Alfonso Herrera had a marital relationship with Diana Vázquez (mother of his two children), which ended or at least became public at the end of the year. Many blame De la Reguera for being the cause of said rupture, because shortly after, she and the former RBD were a couple.
De la Reguera and Herrera did not meet for the first time in the filming set of the tape. They had already known each other since 2012. On that occasion, they worked together in the theatrical production ‘Nadando con tigres’, under the direction of Bruno Bichir. In the play, Ana was, coincidentally, Alfonso’s girlfriend.
In any case, the discretion with which they started things seems to have dissipated definitively. The first to publicly “get wet” and show himself in love with his colleague was him. Herrera shared an image with Ana in Spain through his Instagram account, according to Hola magazine. For many, this was the confirmation of an open secret.
Then it was her turn. Ana joined the viral trend of using the song Bandido by Ana Bárbara while she recorded her shirtless and very concentrated heartthrob preparing to exercise, just before noticing the unexpected presence of the Veracruz paparazzi. De la Reguera explained that it was a TBT and that the video was not that recent when she posted the material on her TikTok account and on her Instagram account. Ana deactivated the possibility of leaving comments and thus avoided receiving downloads from people who blamed her for the breakup of Herrera and Vásquez.
Alfonso Herrera, who is 39 years old and rose to fame as part of the RBD youth group, began his relationship with Diana Vásquez in 2015 for work reasons. They were both in a relationship at the time, so it wasn’t until they were single that they put a romantic spin on things and started dating. In 2016 they got married and that same year they had their first son, Daniel. Four years later, the second son, Nicolás, arrived.
In 2021, the couple separated, after having tried to rescue the relationship and even go to couples therapy together and take a trip. Things were hopeless and Herrera announced the end of her marriage through a statement.
De la Reguera, for his part, had a 5-year relationship with the journalist Jorge Ramos until 2011, which ended due to his infidelity. At that time, the actress said “I’m not going to give details. I never gave details of my private life”, although she later shared on Twitter “I’m from the deceived women’s club”. After this, the actress had a two-year romance with the politician Tomás Ruiz, which also ended with infidelity. Later, Ana dated actor Tony Dalton for a short time.
