Al-Mursal explained that Al-Nasr’s absences due to injuries and suspensions greatly affected the team’s performance, but he considered that Castro did not provide appropriate alternative solutions.
Al-Mursal added that the level of some of Al-Nasr’s key players had declined, such as Brozovic, which required changing the playing style, but Castro insisted on playing with the same methodology.
Al-Mursal also criticized the level of substitutes in Al-Nasr, stressing that they are not of high technical quality capable of performing at a level comparable to the main players.
Al-Mursal called for renewal with some key players, such as Ayman Yahya, Abdul Rahman Al-Naji, and Abdullah Al-Hassan, due to the lack of distinguished local players.
Al-Mursal concluded his statements by saying that the league belongs to Al-Hilal, and that Al-Nasr should focus on the AFC Champions League
