Angolan Students Movement protests in support of teachers – news

From the 15th of April, the Movement of Angolan Students (MEA) intends to hold demonstrations across the country in support of teachers at public universities, who have been on strike for over a month.

Scheduled to take place until the 14th of May, the demonstrations aim to alert the authorities in order to respond to the claims of university professors.

As per the Kianda’s mail previously published, the secretary general of the Higher Education Union, Eduardo Peres Alberto, denounced that he was the target of a death threat on Tuesday, March 28, due to the strike at public universities in Angola, which began last 27 of February.
