Presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan asked for support and prayers from the public, especially supporters of change, so that the lawsuit process related to the presidential election to the Constitutional Court (MK) which was registered today, Thursday (21/3), runs smoothly. Anies emphasized that the legal process submitted to the Constitutional Court was solely because he wanted to provide the correct results to the community.
“I emphasize once again. The process and results are both important. Because the right process will give the right results. If there is a problematic process, the results will be problematic too,” said Anies at the Amin National Team Headquarters, on Jalan Pangeran Diponegoro 10, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Thursday (21/3).
Anies said the lawsuit regarding the election and presidential election results was also to ensure the quality of future elections was better. He feels that this year’s election has so many things that need to be corrected.
“We want to emphasize to everyone that what we experienced, we witnessed, and was witnessed by so many, the media witnessed, the public witnessed, from aspects of policy, regulations, to execution, there are many problems there. We want them all to be corrected. So that what happens “It won’t happen again like this,” explained Anies.
“This is not merely a matter of protocol. The protocol is about speech, not there. But the substance is, how the process can be improved. Hopefully the quality will be even better,” he added.
It is known that Amin’s national team has registered a request to reject the 2024 election results with the Constitutional Court at 01.00 WIB early this morning. The application is submitted online.
In the afternoon, the AMIN Legal Team plans to process the administrative files and sign the lawsuit request directly at the Constitutional Court. (Z-2)
