On Thursday, March 21, Guatemalan singer Zelaya launched I want to hate you, a song that, according to the artist, is aimed at all those who fell in love with someone they often wanted to hate.

I want to hate you is a song that features catchy rhythms and comes after May it never end, the romantic bachata that he released last February.

According to Zelaya, prior to the official launch of I want to hate youpublished a short video on TikTok in which he included a fragment of the song and asked a question to more than a million followers on that social network.

The clip went viral and in less than 24 hours it received more than 350 thousand views. Furthermore, according to Zelaya, with that experiment he verified that the song resonated with many of his followers.

“I have had the opportunity to spend several times in the studio with Santander and I really admire his way of creating and his good vibes,” said Zelaya.

“Whenever we compose, magical songs are born, with a very particular style, and on this occasion we wanted to make a different song, catchy, happy, danceable,” added the national artist.

I want to hate you It is available on all platforms streaming of music and it has a promotional video that, according to Zelaya, was recorded with a cell phone. “We wanted to make a simple video that represented the stories (stories) that you upload when you go out with friends, something that anyone could record from their cell phone. It was a challenge because I had never done a production like this, but I loved the result,” she concluded.
