On the official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Kotei Kobayashi and illustrated by Richu, The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess (Hikikomari Kyuuketsuki no Monmon), a new promotional video for the project was revealed. The video confirms that the premiere is scheduled for next October in Japanand shows a snippet of the musical themes, which include:
fripSide will perform the opening theme titled “Red Liberation“, while MIMiNARI will perform the closing theme titled “Nemurenai feat.“.
Kotei Kobayashi y Richu began publishing the light novels through the publishing label GA Bunko of SB Creative in January 2020, and the work got the “Excellence price” in the eleventh edition of the “Premios GA Bunko“. In addition, a manga adaptation from the hand of Richu is published in the magazine Monthly Big Gangan from the publisher Square Enix since December 2021.

After three years in seclusion, the vampire Terakomari Gandesblood (Komari for short) awakens to discover that she has been appointed commander of the Imperial Mulnite Army.
