Ankle fracture: end of season for LASK striker

LASK will have to do without Ibrahim Mustapha in the coming rounds of the Bundesliga championship group.

As the club reported on Thursday, the attacker sustained another ankle injury during training and will be out for a long period of time.

“The new injury is extremely bitter for us and of course for Ibrahim himself,” sports director Radovan Vujanovic is quoted as saying.

In an unfortunate incident during training, the Ghanaian suffered another fracture in his left ankle, which required surgical intervention. Mustapha is expected to be available to LASK again at the start of the coming season.
