Kochi: Dileep’s brother Anoop and sister’s husband TN Suraj will not appear before the crime branch today in the case of attacking the actress. Anoop was asked to appear at 10 in the morning and Suraj at 2 in the afternoon. But the information is that both are not in place. The crime branch had issued notices at the homes of the two yesterday asking them to appear at the police club today as they had not received several phone calls.
Actress Kavya Madhavan will also be questioned today in the case. The interrogation will be held at Dileep’s Padmasarovar home in Aluva. Kavya wanted to be questioned at home. But the investigation team directed him to reach the police club. Kavya’s position was that she had the right to decide where to question as a witness. Following the legal advice, the probe team decided to question Kavya at home.
Kavya is being questioned on the basis of Dileep’s conversations and director Balachandrakumar’s revelations. The forensic examination revealed that the information destroyed from Suraj’s phone contained a reference to Kavya. According to the crime branch, the role of Kavya Madhavan was hinted at. The question is to clarify this.
