ANSES and Acta renew their partnership | handles

In order to anticipate and react to health issues affecting the crop and livestock sectors, ANSES and Acta have been collaborating for several years. With this renewed partnershipthe two organizations are continuing their rapprochement by strengthening the data and knowledge sharingthe management of joint scientific projects, or the establishment of joint technological units, in the service of the health and well-being of animals as well as the health of plants.

This cooperation aims in particular to improve the responsiveness of the two organizations when health crisesthrough the understanding of emerging phenomena and the movement of contaminants in animals or plantsas well as by promoting the rapid diagnosis of pathogens in animal husbandry and food production.

This partnership also aims to better understand the risks related to plant protection productsby developing exchanges of technical information, whether concerning the evaluation of products, the exposure of farmers to health and chemical hazards or even the feedback of reports of adverse effects.

The agreement was signed on the ANSES stand at the International Agricultural Show, by Roger Genet, Director General of ANSES and Jean-Michel Schaeffer, President of ITAVI (Technical Institute for Poultry, Rabbit and fish farming) by delegation of Anne-Claire Vial, President of Acta.
