At another time, he assured that within his organization “they have abandoned the rebel path” and now they will be governed “by the conventional way”. “We have to accept it as much as we don’t like it,” she said.
When asked regarding his personal political aspiration, Antauro emphasized that he seeks “to have the opportunity to be able to direct the destinies of the country with a new mindset. “I’m going to do my best (to be president),” she said.
“We are going to accept their rules, we are registering, we are going to compete and we think we will win in the first round (….) We are going to demonstrate that ethnocacerism, although it is true, is not power, it is not Government; at least in the country we are power and we intend to train in that power in the next elections”, he added.
