Greens Lower Austria: Right-wing extremist counter-societies have no place in the state government
St. Pölten (OTS) – “When it comes to anti-Semitism, right-wing extremists and extreme Islamists are brothers in spirit. The state governor would therefore be well advised to start her fight once morest anti-Semitism with her government partner, who has attracted attention in the past through relevant song books and Hitler salutes.”says LMP Georg Ecker from the Lower Austrian Greens.
“Zero tolerance” also means that the right-wing extremists in their government, who are outside the basic democratic consensus, must be reintegrated into our society. “When the governor speaks of the fact that counter-societies cannot be tolerated in our community, then I say: These counter-societies have absolutely no place in a Lower Austrian state government. If the state governor is serious regarding her statements, she will end this government association with immediate effect. Otherwise all that will be left are empty words without actions.”says Ecker.
