Antibiotics are not used to treat viruses

The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population confirmed, during a post published on its official page on the social networking site Facebook, that antibiotics are not used to treat viruses such as those that cause colds and influenza.

And the Ministry of Health and Population continued: “Stay healthy and do not use antibiotics without consulting a doctor.”

Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, a spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, gave important advice to parents to protect children from the Corona virus, and they came as follows:

Alert children, if one of them feels respiratory symptoms, informs the guardian to do the necessary.

Encouraging them to apply preventive measures, such as wearing a mask, and keeping a distance of no less than a meter from others.

Constant cleaning of the perpetual, and children using their personal tools.

Eat healthy food rich in vegetables and fruits that contain vitamins to strengthen immunity.
