In an incident that was the third of its kind, social networking sites were buzzing, people in Fayoum governorate found a cemetery containing some Donkey skeletonsSome unknown people slaughtered her and skinned her.
The people found more than 100 slaughtered donkeys and dumped their carcasses in the Hamoul area in the vicinity of Wadi El Rayan Reserve near the waterfalls.
Local media sources suggested that the donkeys were disposed of several months ago or perhaps last summer, while the head of the city center formed a veterinary committee to investigate the incident and reveal its circumstances.
The necessary record was drawn up and the prosecution was notified for investigation of the incident.
Fear and questions
The social media pioneers discussed the incident, and expressed their fear that this meat had been offered in a previous period for sale in the market, wondering about the fate of this meat.
It is noteworthy that two similar incidents were witnessed in the same governorate earlier, the first of which was in 2017 when the security forces found 35 heads and skeletons of donkeys in the village of Hamul, and the second was when skeletons of donkeys were found in the desert of the village of Dimashkin in the center of Fayoum Governorate in August of last year.
