Apple announces New Year’s challenge for Watch users

A Apple today announced its annual New Year’s challenge for users of Apple Watchstarting from January 1, 2024. To win prizes, participants must complete all three activity rings for seven consecutive days throughout the first month.

According to the company, the challenge aims to raise awareness about the importance of healthy habits, motivating users to achieve their goals; the challenge is titled “Ring in the New Year” (“Start the New Year with Everything”, in free translation).

Those who complete missions will receive virtual achievements in the Fitness app, along with exclusive sticker packs for iMessage and FaceTime. Additionally, animated ring stickers accompany the prize:

Apple Watch users will receive notifications a few days before the challenge begins. The activity, it’s worth remembering, easily syncs with the Exercise app and other fitness tracking apps that record data in the Health app (Health).
