Steve Wozniak, founder of Apple, will come to São Paulo in September to participate in the Expert XP 2023 event, a festival focused on investments, which should have a table for him to discuss his career and new technologies. Wozniak’s name was confirmed by the organization of the event this Thursday (27).
Steve Jobs’ partner will discuss his trajectory in the world of technology, entrepreneurship and will analyze the impact of technologies on society.
It is the first time that the electronic engineer will come to Brazil since 2011, when he participated in the Campus Party 2011. Also planned for the 2018 edition of the event, he canceled at the last minute due to surgery.
Wozniak has appeared in the media as a critic of artificial intelligence platforms, warning of the dangers to humans. “The AI is so sophisticated that it is open to bad players, those who want to mislead you about who they are,” he said in an interview with BBC English.
Expert XP is scheduled to take place on the 1st and 2nd of September this year at the São Paulo Expo, in the south zone of São Paulo. Tickets to attend the event in person start at R$ 945, but also it is possible to register on the event website to follow the free content online. Among other celebrities who will be at the event is Tom Brady, seven-time Super Bowl champion.
