Apple comments on the iOS 15.4 battery drain issue.. this is what it said

posed Camel Recently, iOS 15.4 is a feature-packed update that comes with the ability to unlock iPhone using mask, live text integration, and more. However, days after its release, many iPhone users started complaining about the fast battery drain on their devices after installing the update.

Many have turned to the microblogging platform Twitter to complain about the same, while Apple responded to one of those tweets, saying that it is normal for apps and features to adapt to the update.

And her response read: “Thanks for your message! We’ll be happy to help. It’s normal for your apps and features to need tweaking for up to 48 hours after an update. Let’s get you in touch with us via direct message if this is an issue after that time so we can help you look into it.” This is more so.”

And in case the user wants to see more help on the battery interface, Apple has also shared a link to a battery support page titled “Increasing Battery Life and Life.” The page lists tips like dimming the screen or turning on auto-brightness to extend battery life on iPhones.

Users can also enable Low Power Mode to control the battery usage on the device, and it should be noted that not all iPhone users had battery issues after updating to iOS 15.4.

The effect also differed from one device to another. According to online reports, the iPhone 13 Pro Max lasted only half a day while the older iPhone 11 dropped 80 percent of battery charge in 24 hours with two hours of screen on time.

And iOS 15.4 as mentioned above provides the ability to unlock an iPhone while wearing a mask, and currently, iPhone 12 and above models are supported. It also comes with over 100 new emoji from the Emoji 14.0 collection, a new Siri voice, improvements to Safari webpage translations and more.
