Apple announced an increase of more than 40% for its Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade offers. The Apple One subscription increases with them.

Clearly, the time has come for price increases for streaming services for music, series or films. After Spotify, Deezer or Netflix, it is Apple’s turn to announce an increase in the price of its sVOD platform, Apple TV+.
The American firm has in fact decided to increase the price of the monthly subscription from 6.99 to 9.99 euros per month, an increase of almost 43%. The same goes for the Apple Arcade subscription, which allows you to enjoy a catalog of games, usually paid for, on iPhones, Apple TVs or iPads. The package this time goes from 4.99 euros to 6.99 euros per month, an increase of 40%.
Apple One increases by 3 euros, whatever the formula
Logically, the Apple One subscription, which allows you to enjoy Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, iCloud+, Apple Music and Apple Fitness+ at the same time, also sees its price increase. The price on all plans will therefore increase by 3 euros per month. It must be said that, whatever the formula chosen, Apple Arcade and Apple TV+ are part of the Apple One offer. Concretely, the most accessible price of Apple One will increase from 16.95 euros to 19.95 euros per month for the individual plan. The Premium plan – which includes Fitness+ and 2 TB on iCloud+ – goes from 31.95 euros to 34.95 euros per month.
Questioned by our colleagues at NumeramaApple specifies that this increase will be effective in the next 30 days, when their subscription is renewed: “We strive to provide the best possible experiences for our customers by constantly adding high-quality entertainment and content, as well as innovative features, to our services”.
However, increases in streaming platforms are becoming more and more frequent. Of course, Apple is only standardizing itself compared to competing sVOD services – Netflix in 4K now costs 20 euros per month, Disney+ costs 9 euros per month – but subscriptions are cumulative and the overall bill increases with them.
