With macOS 13 it will be more difficult to connect to the Internet via modem.
The time of modems is long gone. Hard to believe: In older versions of macOS there was still partial support for its use. That changed with the 4th beta of macOS 13.
Help article removed
In the support articles for the system there is now no help to put on a modem more. These were still present in the previous beta version.
Modem support only with adapter
Native modem support has not existed for a long time. However, users can retrofit them with an adapter.
The help articles are still on Apple’s websites available.
