The foreign media reported on the 18th (local time) that there is a bug that stops Spotify streaming in models installed with the latest Apple Watch series operating system (OS) watchOS 9.
According to the report, the Spotify streaming interruption bug for Apple Watch series with watchOS 9 occurs on both Wi-Fi and cellular networks, but Spotify media pre-downloaded on the Apple Watch appears to be fine.
Spotify said in an email to users, “There is a bug in WatchOS 9 that stops the Apple Watch from streaming to Spotify.”
Meanwhile, there are reports that the Spotify streaming bug has been fixed in the first beta version of watchOS 9.1, released by Apple last week, but Apple didn’t mention this in the release notes.
