International Short Film Festival Day 4 A special package ‘I Tiles’ presented by AR Rahman will be showcased at the fair today. Five films made by women using iPhones are coming to the screen.
The films are produced under the supervision of famous Iranian director Mohsen Makhmalbaf. Distorted Mirrors by Rajshree Desh Pandey in this genre deals with the conflicts and hopes of lavani dancers in Maharashtra.
Movies in this category are Savita Singh’s Mulberry, Pooja Shyam Prabhat’s Y Maa, Madhumita Venugopal’s Spaces and Kutty Revathi’s Akamukam. AR Rahman introduces the films. The films will be screened at 11.15 am at Nila Theatre.
