Chennai: Music director A.R. Rahman’s son A.R. Amin miraculously survived the accident while shooting the song sequence. The incident came to light after Amin posted the incident on Instagram with a long caption along with photos taken from the set where the accident occurred.
A large chandelier that was lifted on a crane broke and fell. Still haven’t recovered from the trauma of that incident. While the shooting was going on, the chandeliers and the trusses to which they were attached fell from the crane. He fell within a few inches of his group standing under it. The post also says that he is thankful to all his loved ones, including God and his family. Responding to the post, AR said it was a miraculous escape. Rahman noted. Amin, the playback singer, made his debut with the 2015 Tamil film ‘O Kathal Kanmani’.
