Arina Kryshko entered the international competition as an external student
The results of the International Universal beauty contest have been summed up in Malaysia. In it, participant from Russia Arina Kryshko became first in three categories at once – “Mrs. Fitness”, “Mrs. Talent”, and also took the main award “Mrs. World”.
Previously, Arina lived in Petrozavodsk and from the age of 17 took part in local beauty contests. Her track record includes the titles “Miss Karelia” and “Miss Heritage of Russia – 2020”.
Now Arina is 27. In the summer of 2023, she and her husband moved from Karelia to Kuala Lumpur. One evening she was simply scrolling through local websites and on one of them she came across an advertisement in which the organizers of a beauty contest were looking for participants from all over the world for their championship. Without thinking twice, Arina sent her application.
The beauty entered the competition as an external student. The fact is that the participants had to first pass the selection in their country, but there was no representation in Russia. Therefore, instead of countless tests, Arina got away with an interview with the jury and a couple of walks on the catwalk.
Captivated by Arina’s beauty, dance, costume and kokoshnik, the Malaysian judges immediately gave her a place in the finals of the competition.
— The interview with the jury was not difficult. They asked me what I would do if I lost. “I replied that I would become better and come back,” said the winner.
The Russian beauty differed from other participants in the competition not only in that she made it to the finals without unnecessary tests. Entire teams worked on the images of the other girls, and only Arina’s husband helped her in everything.
“He has no jealousy about the fact that I am in the spotlight, about photo shoots. On the contrary, he supports me in everything,” admitted Arina.
Arina was most impressed by the participants from Mexico at the competition – they turned out to be “cheerful and very sincere.”
— A participant from the Philippines surprised everyone; she gave everyone handmade wallets made by girls in prison. This is part of her charity project, she helps women who have stumbled return to normal life,” Arina explained.
The Russian participant also did not stand aside – she gave the other girls homemade hairpins.
“It turned out to be difficult; we had to make 50 pieces in a month. My husband and I glued them at night to get everything done. It took about 200 hours to complete this work,” said the winner.
What also distinguishes Arina from other participants is that she is not limited to modeling. The girl is a candidate master of sports in fitness aerobics and became the champion of Russia in this discipline. Now she is engaged in science, works as a game designer, and participates in the development of mobile games. And at the same time he still manages to devote time to his family.
Arina moved to Malaysia with her husband, who was relocating due to business. After Karelia, the girl admits, she still can’t get used to the local heat. And he gets bored without Russian products.
— There is no buckwheat, cottage cheese or kefir here. “I had to switch to oatmeal,” Arina complains.
But all these deprivations are more than compensated by the beauty of nature. In just a few months, the girl managed to travel to remote islands where sea turtles are rescued.
