Armed Robbery of Jewelers in Waterloo: A Terrifying Incident

Friday, around 7:30 p.m., a couple of jewelers closed their business and returned to their home on Chaussée de Tervueren, in Waterloo, we learned on Monday from the Walloon Brabant public prosecutor’s office.

Three masked and hooded individuals, one of whom carried a handgun, were waiting for them there and used Colson bonds to neutralize them. The three men demanded jewelry and money. The man (80 years old) was hit with a rifle but his wife (70 years old) was relatively spared. The thugs left the scene with jewelry and cash.
