The control court 49 of the Metropolitan Area of Caracas (AMC) issued arrest warrants once morest the deputies of the National Assembly of 2015, Auristela Vásquez, Marianela Fernández and Dinorah Figuera, who were elected as directors of the parliamentary commission.
They are accused of “usurpation of functions, treason, criminal association and money laundering”, by virtue of their participation in irregular acts related “to the fictitious appointment of a board of directors of an alleged illegitimate National Assembly, for the theft of Venezuelan assets abroad.
The three parliamentarians have resided abroad for several years.
In view of this, the Democratic Unitary Platform issued a statement condemning the persecution to which the three women are subjected.
