Charlotte, NC.- A man was arrested Sunday, Sept. 1, in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred in east Charlotte last May, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD).
Police detectives have identified Christian Daniel Sosa, 28, as the suspect in connection with the death of 31-year-old Jovanni Ramirez Fuentes.
Sosa was arrested and taken into custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office, charged with murder.
CASE
The shooting happened on May 12 around 5 a.m. at a residence on Kilborne Drive, near Eastway Drive.
Fuentes was found at the scene with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.
This case is still under active investigation, according to CMPD.
