Arsenal FC has not given up in the fight for the English football championship. Six days after the 4-1 defeat at defending champions Manchester City, the Gunners defeated Chelsea 3-1 (3-0) in the North West London Derby and recaptured the lead in the table. However, they have played two more games than Man City and their fate is no longer in their own hands.

Martin Ödegaard (18’/31′) and Gabriel Jesus (34′) ended Arsenal’s dry spell of four games in a row without a win with their goals.

Team manager Mikel Arteta’s side are two points clear of the champions for the time being but have just four games left.
