The coffin will be opened at 6 p.m. Saturday.
A news scout reports on Saturday morning that at the station square at the main station in Bern a coffin is standing. Below it he has a note that says “here lies the legend”. The note also states that the coffin is to be opened at 6 p.m. on Saturday. Flowers and candles are scattered around the coffin.
“What’s going on here?” was the first thought. “When I saw the coffin, it was a little scary and scared me,” continued the news scout. Passers-by stopped and examined the coffin.
But what about the coffin? Is there even a person in there? It is said to be a “guerrilla action” by stand-up comedian Momo Mankai. According to Mankai, he will spend a full 14 hours in the coffin and then climb out when the coffin is opened and, so to speak, “rise from the dead”. He should wear yellow clothes with the inscription “Life and Motivation”. That is also the motto of his comedy show, which will premiere in May.
