The departure of Arturo Vidal from Flamengo was marked by the break with his coach Jorge Sampaoli, with whom years ago he lived one of the best stages of his career by winning the 2015 Copa América with La Roja.
After making his debut for his new team, Athletico Paranaense, the “King” launched himself against the Casildense, calling him a “loser” and stating that he was happy not to be close to him.
Those harsh statements had not had an opportunity to reply by the aforementioned Sampaoli, however yesterday Saturday, after the 1-1 draw between Flamengo and América MG at the Maracana on the 16th date of the Brasileirao, the Argentine spoke about the matter.
When asked directly by the words of “King Arthur”, the “Mengao” coach replied: “I don’t talk about what others talk about. I make decisions and I worry a lot to try for my team to give the best”.
“If Arturo talks or if someone else talks about Arturo, my perception or my decision to think about Arturo will never change. I am a person who does not speak, ”she added.
Along the same lines, Sampaoli was asked if what Vidal said hurt him. “I do not speak. My significance for the present are things that are part of the activity: it is making decisions. I sincerely try to make the club play the way I want ”, was his response.
