The “Hefaistos” Sports Association cut its New Year’s cake yesterday in the “Aleka Sioulis” hall at the Pampeloponnesia stadium in the presence of athletes from all departments. The presence of the athletes Stefanos Babis and Kostas Kougias was special.
The municipal authority was represented by the Deputy Mayor of Education and Sports Takis Petropoulos, the Region by the Deputy Regional Governor of Coordination Charalambos Bonanos, the Deputy Regional Governor of Health Ms. Mastorakou Anna, the Deputy Regional Governor of Sports Takis Antonopoulos, the vice president of the regional council Mr. Gerasimos Fessian, and the president of the association of friends of clinical rehabilitation Riou, Iulia Syrokosta and Nikos Karahalios.
Sponsors and friends of the association were also present, including Maria Manousaki, president of the Patras “Kallipateira” branch, and Stavros Mallioris, who donated the club’s uniforms.
The pie was blessed by the representative of the diocese of Patras, Archimandrite Iosif, and the representative of the diocese of Nafpaktos, Father Ioannis Polyzos. After a short review of last year by the president of the club, Dimitris Kanellopoulos, everyone wished them a good year, health and success. The beautiful evening ended with a wonderful buffet by Christos Xoulos.
